South Jersey is home to some of the best political operatives in the nation.  

The entire state will be watching to see if this is the year George Norcross makes his move to finally elect a Governor from South Jersey.

Is Andrews Persona Non Grata ?

Rumors are circulating that Congressman Rob Andrews is on thin ice with South Jersey Democrats, specifically Power Broker George Norcross.

Andrews, who launched an unsuccessful bid for U.S. Senate against Frank Lautenberg, originally promised not to seek a return to Congress after losing the Primary Election.   

Sources claim Andrews was offered a job with a seven figure salary at Goldman Sachs, by way of Norcross, but instead chose to change his mind and return to Congress.

This decision is said to have infuriated Norcross, who had other plans for the seat.  It was assumed that Norcross would replace Andrews with his brother Donald Norcross.

Should South Jersey Democrats  back a candidate for Governor this spring look for it to be Senate Majority Leader Steve Sweeney, not Andrews.
